"Record of Unintentional Entanglements"
"Artist? what kind of music do you play?" "Ok, so I will become a redording artist!"
I am working with the concept of Akashic Records and making a visual pun with porcelain "phonograph records" as a means to introduce text into my work and to give all thought and phenomena equal weight. I can play with high and low simultaneously. I will post more of them on flickr . Click on Beth's pix Flickr in the list on the right.

April 3 at 1:00pm. Come help create the sea coming from the elephant's trunk, cast messages into the sea, leave messages on the elephant. Take your photo on or in the elephant, or in an art fool costume, be a human pendulum & be part of the exhibition.

Representative Julia Brownley and Sandra Tsing Loh playing with the Arcade

The Education Funding Arcade for the Children's Rally in Sacramento was a big success! We used cast off industrial materials from Trash for Teaching. see more photos on my Flickr page www.flickr.com/photos/bethelliott

Here is an in progress pic of the School Budget Money Arcade for Sandra Tsing Loh's Rally in Sacramento next tue. June 23
It has Rube Goldberg parts with golf balls dropping through one tube to another, parts spinning, $100 bill bean bags to throw into the clown's mouth & $100 bills seeming to pour out through a funnel, other cool things to do & play with - all pointing up the ineffeciency of school funding. People will be able to add parts in Sacramento at the Rally.
It is made with cast off industrial materials from Trash for Teaching.
